Alexandria, VA (May 27, 2010)–Summer is coming, and Patent Resources Group (PRG), the nation’s leading educator of patent professionals, has something for everyone in our summer schedule of live courses.

For seasoned patent attorneys, agents, scientists, and engineers

Advanced Courses: Experienced patent practitioners will want to mark their calendars for August 2-20, when we offer a three-week Advanced Courses program in Washington, DC and in Southfield, MI (via live videoconference).  We’ll be teaching a total of nine one-day, two-day, and three-day courses over this period, including many of our most popular courses.

For patent support professionals

Patent Administration:  This summer we are offering our first course for patent support professionals — Patent Administration: A Foundation for Success — in Washington, DC and in Southfield, MI (via live videoconference) on August 23-25.  Attendees will get both a firm understanding of the fundamentals of patent law and practical tips and advice that can be applied on a daily basis to save time and ensure success in their organization’s patent operation.  this is the first course being offered as part of our new Institute for Patent and Trademark Paralegals, Secretaries & Administrators.

For newcomers to the profession

Patent Bar Review Course:  For those focused on passing the USPTO bar exam, our industry-leading Patent Bar Review Course is being offered in Boston, MA from June 21-25.  Join our satisfied alumni — 100% of our 2009 classroom students gave our Bar Review Course an overall rating of Excellent or Good.

Patent Workshop:  Patent attorneys or agents with up to two years of experience will want to take The Patent Workshop: Fundamental Best Practices for Patent Prosecution for 2010, which is being held in Los Angeles, CA on July 20-23 and in Washington, DC on July 27-30.  This course teaches you proven techniques for drafting patents that will win at the Federal Circuit.

In addition, our PRG Anywhere offering lets your group attend any of the August Advanced Courses or the August Patent Administration course via live videoconferencing from your own location.  Your company or law firm will be able to save a total of 50% to 75% on course fees and travel costs with this option.
